USPI's East Portland Surgery Center is looking for a full time Registered Nurse Procedure Room to join our team!!

What You Will Do (Job Summary):
The Registered Nurse Procedure Room is responsible for all patient care in the Procedure Room and working with the physician to deliver a successful procedure and outcome for the patient.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- · Managing procedure room(s) to ensure the rooms are prepped and ready for patients, including room turnovers, stocking supplies, cleaning, etc.
- · Administers medication as ordered by physician, following the Moderate Sedation policy
- · Safely monitors and documents care of patients undergoing Moderate Sedation in accordance with policy and procedure and guidelines of care.
Monday-Friday work schedule
NO call required
NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

Required Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
- Active RN license and can practice in Oregon
- 2 years experience in Procedure Room
- 4 years RN experience
- Experience in basic and advanced procedures and IV sedation experience
- Experience with medical outpatient procedures
- BLS and ACLS accredited by AHA required
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
