What are the responsibilities and job description for the MLT position at USPI?
Preforms General Medical Laboratory Technician duties in Phlebotomy, Processing, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis and Blood Bank. Performed Quality Control, preventive maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly) on instrumentation and responsible for corrective action.
Hours are 3:00pm until 11:00pm
Call on a rotating basis
Required Experience:
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (GED)
MLT or MT certification required.
ASCP certification or equivalent required.
Must have a working knowledge of Lab procedures.
Must have excellent computer skills
