USNR is seeking a Warehouse Crater to join our warehouse team at our Jacksonville, Florida facility. This position works Tuesday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM and is responsible for building custom shipping crates, pallets, and packaging materials to support domestic and international shipments.

The successful candidate will safely package and secure products for shipment, build custom wooden crates and pallets, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure all products are protected according to company and customer requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Applicants must possess the ability to read a tape measure accurately, safely use hand and power tools, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Build custom wooden crates, pallets, and packaging materials according to specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand tools and power tools.
  • Safely package and secure products for shipment to prevent damage during transit.
  • Read and interpret packaging instructions, blueprints, and shipping requirements.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Inspect finished crates and packages for quality and compliance.
  • Assist with loading and unloading shipments as required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in crating, carpentry, packaging, manufacturing, or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Forklift experience is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds with assistance.
