Job Summary
Entry level technician position that receives
specific instructions and assignments of routine tasks with full supervision.
Participates and supports various polymer science and engineering activities
for polymer processing setup and cleanup, facilities & inventory
organization, extrusion, prepreg, film, matrix reactor, scale-up, autoclave,
sample preparation, testing, maintenance and operation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist researchers by performing routine tests/sampling.
- Support polymer science and engineering activities for processing setup and cleanup of facilities.
- Perform testing and maintenance, and sample preparation.
- Assist with scale-up, autoclave, the matrix reactor, prepreg film, and extrusion.
- Maintain laboratory stock and supplies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
