Job Summary
This nine-month, tenure-track (or
teaching-track) faculty position requires teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the Public Health programs in the school, developing a programmatic line of research (if tenure-track), serving as
internship coordinator, and providing service to the school, college,
university and professional organizations.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaching (online and face-to-face) in the undergraduate and graduate Public Health programs.
- Facilitating fieldwork placement for undergraduate internship students and graduate practicum students in Public Health programs.
- Coordinating outreach activities and events for students, alumni, and employers.
- Collecting and disseminating internship and outreach data for the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) Accreditation in collaboration with School and program leadership and staff.
- Serving as an advisor for public health student organizations, such as Eta Sigma Gamma.
- For tenure-track appointments:
a. Commitment to build and sustain a robust research agenda to include creation and dissemination of new knowledge and pursuit of external research support. - Other duties as assigned.
