Job Summary
This nine-month, tenure-track faculty position requires teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the School related to athletic training and sports medicine, developing a programmatic line of research, mentoring graduate students, and providing service to the school, college, university and professional organizations. This position further includes serving as the Clinical Education Coordinator for the Master of Science in Athletic Training Program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Commitment to build and sustain a robust research agenda to include creation and dissemination of new knowledge.
- Pursuit of external research support.
- Supervision of undergraduate and graduate research projects.
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate coursework related to athletic training and sports medicine.
- Assisting with the assessment and evaluation of athletic training and sports medicine programs in consultation with the other core faculty.
- Serving as the Clinical Education Coordinator within the Master of Science in Athletic Training program.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
