Evaluate and underwrite: Review and manage submissions with accuracy, adhering to company guidelines and delegated authority levels.
Customer engagement: Handle quotes, re-quotes, and endorsements with a customer-first approach, delivering an exceptional service experience.
Relationship building: Develop and maintain strong partnerships with customers by understanding their needs and supporting mutual business growth.
Collaboration: Work closely with teams across Underwriting, Business Development, Claims, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Innovation and insight: Research market trends, analyze competitive data, and contribute ideas that support product enhancement and business development.

Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years of underwriting experience in Commercial Property & Casualty, Personal, or Management and Professional Liability lines.
- Education: Insurance coursework or designations (e.g., CPCU, RPLU) preferred.
- Alternative experience: 5 years in related fields such as:
- Other insurance roles (sales, claims, agent/broker)
- Financial services (banking, mortgage, consulting)
- Legal services (attorney, paralegal)
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to maintain strong customer relationships (for travel-based roles).

Pay: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
