USK Manufacturing, Inc. is a small minority owned business specializing in precision sheet metal fabrication, machining and mechanical assembly . We are looking for a positive self-motivated individual who can easily adapt to a fast paced and dynamic environment.
We have a CAD/CAM Programmer position available now.
The CAD/CAM Programmer utilizes specialized software to create precise instructions for cutting and forming sheet metal according to customer drawings and specifications. Additionally, they identify and route the necessary work centers essential for the production of each component.
Responsibilities:
- Create and inspect flat pattern layouts from customer drawings and specifications.
- Work with department leads to make parts as fabrication efficient as possible.
- Unfold and flatten 3D models into 2D components.
- Generate G-Codes for Amada and Mitsubishi laser and turret punch machines.
- Examine customer drawings and specifications to assess manufacturability and identify any potential errors.
- Optimize programs to enhance machine productivity and material utilization.
- Prepare and release job travelers containing work center routing information and instructions for external processes.
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in programming and routing precision sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Proficient in reading BOM lists and technical drawings.
- Proficient in Solidworks and AP100US/Fabriwin.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Team player, ability to multi-task, stays calm under pressure, and adapts to dynamic situations.
- High attention to detail and precision.
This is a full time position, 40 hours a week. Hours are M - F 8:00AM to 4:30PM.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
