As we continue to expand nationally, we are seeking a Director of Operations to help scale our filing operations, service operations, vendor network, and offshore support teams.
Position Summary
The Director of Operations will work directly with the Managing Partner and leadership team to oversee the day-to-day execution of the business.
This individual will be responsible for ensuring assignments move efficiently through the organization, managing operational workflows, supporting offshore teams, monitoring service levels, improving processes, and helping prepare UServe for its next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, improving workflows, managing people, and driving accountability.
ResponsibilitiesOperations Management
- Oversee daily filing and service operations
- Monitor operational workload and capacity
- Ensure service level expectations are met
- Manage assignment flow and escalation processes
- Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements
Filing Operations
- Oversee filing workflow and processing
- Monitor filing queues and aging work
- Track rejection trends and resolution efforts
- Improve filing turnaround times
- Coordinate with offshore filing personnel
Offshore Team Management
- Manage and develop offshore team leaders
- Monitor productivity and quality metrics
- Establish training and accountability programs
- Ensure consistent operational standards
Service Operations
- Oversee assignment management workflows
- Monitor service completion performance
- Support vendor network operations
- Assist with operational escalations
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and monitor operational KPIs
- Prepare executive reporting dashboards
- Identify trends affecting productivity and performance
- Provide recommendations to leadership
Process Improvement
- Evaluate operational systems and workflows
- Develop scalable procedures and documentation
- Implement automation opportunities where appropriate
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
QualificationsRequired
- 5 years of operations management experience
- Experience leading teams and managing workflows
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to analyze operational data and identify trends
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
Preferred
- Legal support services experience
- Process serving industry experience
- Court filing or eFiling experience
- Litigation support experience
- Multi-state operations experience
- Experience managing remote or offshore teams
- CRM, workflow, or operations software experience
