USEReady is seeking an SAP FICO Functional Specialist. This role is based in Greensboro, NC and is in the office Monday - Thursday (not flexible). Fridays will be remote. Both contract-to-hire and direct hire candidates will be considered for this role. Candidates that are not currently living local to the Greensboro area will be considered, but must relocate and be within a reasonable distance to the office within two weeks after receiving an offer.
Responsibilities:
• Provides functional direction on projects to department or project participants. Assists with direction, planning, and the installation of Information Technology projects which typically involve and impact multiple cross functional business areas.
• Have solid understanding of financial processes and SAP functional and technical skills; expertise with design, and implementation of financial systems, or enterprise software; and documentation experience
• Sets expectations with Finance stake holders and communicate project updates and deliveries
• Interact with a team of business representatives or liaisons to gather requirements, prioritize work, develop enhancements to the existing system, coordinate testing and perform change management / training.
• Knowledge of Record to Report (R2R) business processes is important
• Manage the daily support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP environment and other Finance applications.
•Share deep knowledge and experience from working with SAP solutions with other team members to support future enhancements.
•Support monthly, Quarterly and year-end financial close and automation
•Validate and document configurations, enhancements, development, and underlying processes.
•Coordinate with corporate Finance users to understand functional requirements to identify and develop solutions.
Qualifications:
• Extensive SAP FICO functional experience in covering the following areas; General Ledger (FI-GL), Accounts Payable (FI-AP), Accounts Receivable (FI-AR), Bank Accounting (FI-BL), Asset Accounting (FI-AA), Special Purpose Ledger (FI-SL), Cost Element Accounting (CO-OM-CEL), Cost Center Accounting (CO-OM-CCA), Internal Orders (CO-OM-OPA), Product Cost Controlling (CO-PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), Profit Center & Accounting (EC-PCA)
• Excellent senior Stakeholder management experience. Demonstrated ability to work with business area stakeholders and technology colleagues to investigate and quickly understand complex end-to-end business practices that span integrated business applications and data domains
• Experience managing Finance processes and projects for ERP implementations. Experience in at least 1 end to end SAP implementation.
•Lead analysis, research, design and development of new functionalities and integration with key applications and services under SAP ecosystems. Experienced across all phases of a project including fit/gap analysis, design, build, testing, training, cutover and post go live support
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong experience with SAP integrations with third party systems and middleware.
• Experience with organizing and analyzing comprehensive requirements for future state business scenarios, then collaborating with technology colleagues on solution
design options involving configuration/development and data integration, based on new/existing software infrastructure
• Strong conceptual/analytical abilities, problem solving skills, attention to detail, and communication/facilitation skills
• Open text experience is a strong plus
• Alliant and High Radius experience are a strong plus
