What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Officer-Medical Building position at USENTRA Security Services?
The Security Officer protects donors, visitors, employees, property, blood products, and restricted work areas by maintaining a visible and professional security presence. The officer actively patrols assigned interior and exterior areas, controls access at designated entrances, verifies authorization, observes and reports safety or security concerns, and responds promptly to incidents. This is an active post; the officer is expected to remain alert, move throughout the facility, and avoid unnecessary time seated or stationed in one area unless directed.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED, unless otherwise approved by company policy.
Meets all state and local requirements for employment as a security officer at the assigned location.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person, by radio, and in writing.
Ability to prepare complete and accurate reports using paper or electronic systems.
Sound judgment, reliability, integrity, situational awareness, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to follow post orders, confidentiality requirements, emergency procedures, and supervisor direction.
Successful completion of company and client screening, onboarding, and training requirements.
