What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Engineer position at USEMCO?
Design and document power control systems and logic control systems (involving P.L.C.'s and or discrete components), requiring considerable knowledge of the National Electric Code, UL Regulations, and local electrical codes.
Communicate with customers, sales representatives, contractors, and vendors concerning product design issues at each stage of the product development process. Communicate with the manufacturing function, answering questions and providing technical advice while products are being built.
Responsibilities
- Provide submittal materials for customer review and approval.
- Create product design drawings and Bills of Materials to guide the manufacturing department in producing company products.
- Integrate sensor products with electrical control systems.
- Assist with the testing of electrical equipment.
- Understand P.L.C. logic to control product operations.
- Represent the company at seminars, trade shows, and marketing related functions.
- Attend training classes and\or seminars to improve engineering and design related skills.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
