What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Auto Technician position at Used Treads Tire Store, LLC?
Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency.
Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including brakes, suspension, alignments, struts, tie rods, ball joints, wheel bearings, tires, additional shop duties, etc.
Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisers and customers.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience as an automotive technician (automotive mechanic)
Hold a valid driver's license
Ability to daily lift 60 lbs
Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
