Summary
This position is in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), conducts a program of financial activities applicable to State agencies that receive FSIS funds for the Cooperative Inspection Programs.

Qualifications
Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the GS-13 or equivalent grade level that demonstrates: - Leading onsite and virtual financial and compliance reviews of State Agency operations assessing system practices, and adherence to Federal requirements; - Providing expert financial policy and procedural guidance to State Agencies under Cooperative Inspection Programs, resolving complex reporting and billing issues; -Conducted oversight desk reviews of Federal financial assistance, verifying compliance, analyzing final financial reports, and following up on fiscal expectations; - Reviewing, analyzed, and negotiated indirect cost proposals, including maintaining contributions to the Government-wide indirect cost rate repository; - Serving as a team leader, coordinating activities, training staff, monitoring progress, and developing analytical tools and guidelines to strengthen program oversight.
