Responsibilities:
You will serve as a Fuel Distribution Worker. This position is located in DHS/U.S. Coast Guard, Seventh Coast Guard District, Air Station Clearwater, Engineering Department, in Clearwater, FL.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include:
- .Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly fuel farm/truck inspections, maintenance and service equipment.
- Receiving fuel from vendors and performs testing of the fuel.
- Connecting and disconnecting hoses and open and close valves, checking periodically for leaks and checking the condition of storage tanks.
- Operating equipment to transfer fuels from storage tanks to aircraft tank trucks or similar vehicles.
- Reading meters and recording amounts of fuel transferred from storage tanks to vehicles.
