JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Performs safety inspection of equipment prior to initial use. Reports unsafe acts or conditions to manager.

- Possesses the skills and knowledge needed to assess the condition of the pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients in
media, application of immobilization and radiation protection devices. Provides educational information to family
members, as required.
- Responsible for quality imaging including proper exposure factors, lead marking, and patient positioning. Demonstrates

- Responsible for understanding and participating in the organization wide Performance Improvement Program through
- Reviews Radiology requisition verifies examination with doctors’ orders, checks patient history and special instructions.
- Rotates to different shifts and work areas as scheduled or assigned, works overtime, as directed.

Minimum Education:
High School or equivalent
Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology Program.
Preferred Experience:
1 year In acute hospital base experience. No prior experience required for all USC Arcadia Hospital radiology interns.
Minimum Skills:
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Required Certifications:
Registered Technologist - R.T. (ARRT)
ARRT Registration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Provided by the American Heart Association
Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy Permit (CADPH) Within 90 days of hire.
Pay Transparency
The hourly rate range for this position is $43.20 - $58.08. JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Imaging Services Director, performs all diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures to the specifications and standards established by the department's Medical Director. Rotates shifts, on call and standby. Applies good interpersonal and communication processes utilizing verbal and non-verbal skills.
