Job Description Summary
Graduate Assistants hired with the College Program for Students with ASD work as mentors for college students with ASD in academic, social, and independent living development areas. Time is spent directly supporting participating students as they navigate the college environment. Mentors are required to oversee evening study halls, help assist in test proctoring, as well as plan and participate in various social activities throughout the semester. This role requires that mentors regularly communicate and meet with their students and staff Support Specialists. Mentors are expected to attend any staff training that occurs during the semester.
