Overview
Hours: 3pm 11:30pm with variable days including rotating weekends.
Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Sterile Processing Tech II, in conjunction with the Operating Room Instrument Technician, is responsible for the inspection, preparation, and sterilization of instruments and instrument sets utilized in the Main Operating Room. Loads and unloads sterilizers.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 2 years surgical instrument preparation experience preferred. Education/Licensure/Certification: High School diploma or equivalent. Current Central Service Technician Certification. Certification can be obtained within one year of employment with proof of 6 months working experience and Completion of CS program and internship.
