Position Overview
U.S. Aviation Services is seeking a Station Manager to lead and oversee all janitorial operations supporting our newly awarded Janitorial contract at ORD. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, regulatory compliance, workforce stability, and customer satisfaction in a 24/7 airport environment.
This role carries full accountability for contract execution, including labor, supplies, equipment, training, and service delivery standards as outlined in the Envoy agreement .
The Station Manager will serve as the primary on-site leader and liaison between U.S. Aviation Services, our airline customers, and airport stakeholders, ensuring consistent, high-quality service aligned with contractual expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Provide full oversight of daily janitorial operations across assigned terminals, facilities, and operational areas
- Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contractual standards, SLAs, and airport authority requirements
- Maintain 24/7 operational readiness, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Contract Execution & Performance

Own full delivery of the janitorial contract, including:
- Labor management
- Supplies and equipment
- Recurring training requirements
- Service quality and compliance
- Monitor KPIs, audit results, and service metrics; implement corrective actions as needed
Staffing & Workforce Management
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to maintain optimal staffing levels
- Manage Supervisors, Leads, and frontline employees
- Oversee scheduling aligned with flight activity and operational demand
Training & Compliance

Ensure all employees complete required training, including:
- Safety and OSHA compliance
- Airport badging (SIDA) and security protocols
- Job-specific janitorial procedures
- Maintain accurate training documentation and audit readiness
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer leadership

Maintain strong relationships with:
- Airline partners
- Airport authorities
- Security representatives
- Proactively address service issues and operational challenges
Quality Assurance & Audits
- Conduct routine inspections and audits of all service areas
- Ensure adherence to cleanliness standards, safety protocols, and contractual obligations
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Financial & Administrative Oversight
- Manage station-level budget, including labor, overtime, and supply costs
- Review daily reports and implement cost-control measures
- Ensure accurate time and attendance approvals in ADP
Safety & Security Leadership
- Enforce all company and airport safety policies
- Conduct regular safety briefings and ensure compliance
- Maintain strict adherence to secure area protocols
Inventory & Equipment Management

Oversee procurement and control of:
- Cleaning supplies
- Equipment and machinery
- PPE and uniforms
- Ensure proper maintenance and accountability
Qualifications
Required Experience
-
Minimum 3 years of management experiencein:
- Aviation services
- Airport operations
- Janitorial or facilities management
- Proven ability to lead large, hourly workforce teams in a 24/7 operation
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Operations, or related field preferred
- Equivalent experience will be considered
