We are looking for an outstanding Keyholder to join our BAPE team at our Melrose Ave store.
BAPE is a leading premium streetwear brand that offers iconic designs and original patterns such as "BAPE® CAMO", "BAPE STA™", "SHARK HOODIE" and "BABY MILO®". In its global expansion, BAPE now has a presence worldwide in the US, UK, China, and various Asian countries. As a member of the BAPE retail team, you will serve as an ambassador of the BAPE brand and help us keep our commitment to providing exceptional customer service and brand experience at our retail stores.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all store opening and closing duties including reporting to management and deposit preparation
- Support the retail management team to drive sales and profitability as well as deliver exceptional customer brand service
- Coach and motivate the team to deliver the best customer service, improving their product and brand knowledge through utilizing cross-training methods
- Perform all cashier duties and monitor the accuracy of cashier staff
- Complete daily checklist tasks and store operational requirements by scheduling and delegating team tasks, follow up on work results
- Understanding and achieving store KPIs, analyzing sales figures and overall store performance, suggesting new initiatives for improvement
- Ensuring operational policies and procedures are respected, using initiative to coordinate and enforce programs where appropriate
- Manage and ensure availability of stock, monitor stock levels, and make key decisions regarding stock control
- Maintain awareness of market trends in the fashion retail industry, understand forthcoming customer initiatives, and monitor what local competitors are doing
- Consistently manage housekeeping, shop floor cleanliness, and visual standards, ensure team effort is implemented in meeting company standards
- Frequently required to stand. May be required to crouch, kneel, lift and/or move up to 50lbs, climb ladders as needed
Personal qualities & qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in fashion retail in a supervisory position
- Proven record of good leadership skills and experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize responsibilities
- Solid understanding of retail math (including, but not limited to; analyzing sell-through, mark-up, gross margin, etc.)
- Exemplary customer service skills and a good record of meeting sales KPIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Team player and committed to contributing towards a positive work environment and culture
- Consistently punctual and reliable
- Able to be flexible with work schedule (expected to work weekends and evenings)
Salary Range: $26.00/hour
