About This Role

Responsible for opening and maintaining specialized accounts, such as IRA, Estate, and Trust accounts. Maintains deceased member accounts and coordinates action with various internal departments. Handles other legal / regulatory requests such as levies and subpoenas. Supports internal and external members by phone, email, or other delivery methods in a professional manner

Key Responsibilities

• Comply with regulatory changes that impact department processes.
• Assist members by completing requests promptly and following up as needed.
• Forward member comments or trends to management attention for further evaluation.
• Administer IRA Required Minimum Distributions, including scheduling to prepare for the RMD’s (liquidate assets), process RMD’s and track (waivers and deferrals).
• Process member death related transactions.
• Responsible for the legal notice/subpoena process and follow-up to ensure receipt within provided in the necessary time frame allotted.
• Open IRA’s, Business, and Special Ownership Accounts.
• Maintains knowledge of department products, processes, and procedures. Applies that knowledge to produce high quality work independently.
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of Credit Union, member, and employee information.
• Maintain organized work area with member information secured at the end of the day.
• Adhere to all credit union policies and procedures, including reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

Who You Are

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to analyze documents, including but not limited to subpoenas and levies, and take appropriate action.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent decision-making capabilities.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base hourly range for this position is $20.86 - $25.03, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at USALLIANCE Federal Credit Union, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part is any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package.
