We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Maintenance warehouse supervisor to manage the Maintenance storeroom and parts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for process optimization, and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Warehouse Supervisor Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of products.
- Coordinate the Maintenance storeroom parts with activities of Maintenance staff.
- Ensure inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Train and evaluate warehouse employees.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision.
- Strong maintenance MRO inventory and parts management.
- Strong knowledge of Vendor managed inventory controls.
- Strong team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of [3] years of experience in warehouse operations
- Certifications in forklift operation or safety management are a plus.
- Valid driver license
