Production Planner/Scheduler Associate

We are an 80 year old privately held company located in the heart of the picturesque Hudson Valley, in New Windsor, New York (90 minutes North of New York City).
Job Summary
The Production Planner/Scheduler Associate is responsible for coordinating and scheduling production activities to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of products. Assists in analyzing production capacity, monitoring inventory levels, and creating detailed schedules that align with customer demand and organizational goals. The associate works closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, minimize delays, and meet customer delivery requirements. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities are essential for success in this position.
Position Responsibilities Include:
- Plans and establishes the production schedule for all production lines.
- Tracks progress of production and updates schedules as necessary. Communicates schedules to plant personnel and tracks factors that affect production.
- Works closely with production supervision and plant personnel to ensure the product is produced and packed to meet customer requirements.
- Interfaces with customer services representatives, sales and marketing personnel, and other USAI personnel concerning product availability.
- Creates work orders, and runs MRP periodically during the day.
- Prepares various production and inventory reports as required.
- Responsible for dating customer orders and OTD.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School education or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment (production scheduling, customer service, and/or inventory control). CPIM a plus
- ERP / MRP experience. "Intuitive" ERP experience a plus.
- Customer focus, detail oriented.
- Analytical skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday (Saturdays when required)
