Purpose of Job
We are currently seeking a talented Learning Performance Consultant Lead for our San Antonio Home Office I or 100% Remote Work Environment.Provides thought leadership and solutions to align with USAA's professional development strategy and operational plan. Leads the implementation and sustainment of USAA's professional development programs and initiatives. Serves as an internal strategic learning consultant to enhance the performance of employees through the identification and facilitation of training solutions. Collaborates with all levels of USAA management and internal partners to assess business or employee issues related to learning opportunities. Manages multiple large-scale initiatives.
The CAO Learning Center of Excellence, Content and Development Team is responsible for supporting the learning and development needs of CAO. The team is currently focused on developing and delivering IT role based training, learning performance consultation, organization development, and learning management system administrative services for CAO. This new position is part of a recently formed team is composed of experience instructional designers, learning performance consultants, and learning support advisors.

- Manages and engages third party vendor relationships to provide learning solutions to specific communities.
- Develops tools and processes to measure effectiveness of curriculum solutions and learner performance to ensure solutions meet employee skill development requirements.
- Continuously evaluates and improves the learning and development programs and processes to support USAA's evolving business.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8 years of experience in conducting needs assessment, designing, implementing, and managing learning and development programs for a diverse client group.
- 6 years of project/program development and management experience.
- Proven ability to implement blended, innovative learning solutions and manage training from beginning to end including; assessment, design, development, implement and delivery, coordination, and evaluation.
- Experience creating learning solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment with a focus on iterative, continuous improvement using business feedback, and lifecycle planning for learning programs.
- Experience in consulting, influencing and communicating at an executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to transfer knowledge to advance team, organization and enterprise goals and objectives.
- Expert level experience proposing solutions that educate the workforce and minimize risk and maximize quality and sustainment.
- Experience with digital learning technologies, adult learning theories and/or instructional design approaches.

Compensation:
USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $129,600.00 - $175,000.00.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
Geographical Differential: Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average.
Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
