US - Senior Security Engineer

Job Description: Essential Job Functions: • Manage security architecture projects and initiatives, overseeing project teams. • Collaborate with teams to implement security solutions, ensuring adherence to security standards. • Evaluate and recommend security technologies, best practices, and risk mitigation approaches. • Assist in developing and updating security policies and procedures. • Participate in security assessments and assist with compliance efforts. • Communicate security-related information to stakeholders. • Monitor security incidents and support incident response efforts. • Support the training and development of junior staff. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science, Information Security) or equivalent combination of education and experience • Typically, 7 years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in security architecture • Proven experience in managing security projects and teams • Knowledge of security principles, technologies, and compliance requirements Other Qualifications: • Advanced degree in Information Security or a related field a plus • Relevant certifications (i.e., CISSP, CISM) or advanced training a plus Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $105,500 - $195,900. Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
