Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Portable Toilet Service Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will operate a specialized service truck to deliver, clean, service, and pick up portable toilets and related equipment. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards. Full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a commercial service truck (CDL Class B or higher required) to transport portable toilets to and from job sites. Use GPS and route planning tools to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Pump out waste tanks, clean and sanitize interiors/exteriors of portable toilets, restock supplies (e.g., toilet paper, hand sanitizer), and perform minor repairs as needed.
Load, unload, position, and level portable toilets at customer locations, including handwashing stations and luxury restroom trailers when applicable.
Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain truck cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues. Handle waste disposal at approved facilities in compliance with environmental regulations.
Communicate professionally with clients, address any on-site concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Accurately log service details, mileage, inventory, and any incidents using digital apps or paper forms.
Adhere to OSHA, DOT, and company safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves, boots, and masks.
Qualifications and Requirements
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class B with air brakes endorsement preferred); clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3 years).
1 years of commercial driving experience; experience in sanitation, waste management, or septic services is a plus but not required (training provided).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, stoop, and work in outdoor conditions year-round. Comfortable handling waste materials with proper sanitation procedures.
Strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills for inventory, excellent time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Must pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical. Availability for early mornings, weekends, and on-call shifts during events.
