Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, and planting to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to support proper horticultural care and landscape design
- Manage company gear, including cleaning, repair, and seasonal adjustments to promote optimal practices
- Conduct tree trimming, pruning, and health assessments to maintain safety and aesthetic standards
- Assist with hardscape installation projects such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other construction features
- Support seasonal tasks like snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping machinery and hand tools effectively
- Experience with landscape maintenance routines including lawn care, gardening, and plant identification
- Knowledge of pesticide management for safe application of treatments to control pests and diseases
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance
