Manage purchase order confirmations, open order and back-order report, keeping the information updated and accurate. Expedite orders daily to ensure on time delivery, proactively identifies issues and works with the purchasing manager, accounts payable, warehouse and suppliers to resolve issues in a timely manner. Communicates directly with suppliers on any issues that need immediate response as well as lead time and performance. Acts as a liaison between warehouse, purchasing, pricing, vendor customer service in regard to issues related to deliveries and supplier performance.

This role is responsible for maintaining accurate product and purchasing data while supporting purchasing operations and supplier coordination. The position ensures data integrity across systems, supports product lifecycle activities, expedites purchase orders, and serves as a key liaison between internal teams and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and accurate information.
Responsibilities
- Manage purchase order confirmations, open orders, and back-order reports, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
- Expedite purchase orders daily to support on-time delivery and proactively resolve issues with purchasing, accounts payable, warehouse, and suppliers
- Communicate directly with suppliers regarding urgent issues, lead times, and performance
- Act as a liaison between purchasing, warehouse, pricing, and vendor customer service regarding delivery and supplier performance
- Maintain and validate product data including SKUs, specifications, pricing, and item attributes across internal systems
- Support product launches, updates, and lifecycle changes through accurate data entry and coordination
- Perform data audits, reporting, and process improvements to ensure data quality, completeness, and accessibility
