We're partnered with a high-growth AI infrastructure company building the training data and evaluation systems used by leading frontier AI labs to develop next-generation models. Having achieved exceptional growth in a short period of time, the company is now building out its first dedicated revenue team and is hiring 3 Business Development Representatives to help establish and scale its outbound sales motion.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly ambitious, technically sophisticated environment where you'll work directly with Head of Revenue to build the outbound playbook from scratch. The role is ideal for a curious, entrepreneurial salesperson who enjoys learning complex technical concepts and engaging with researchers, engineers, and AI leaders.
This is a full time, in-office position in Downtown San Francisco and visa sponsorship is available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research researchers, engineers, and decision-makers at leading AI labs and technology companies to identify opportunities and develop highly personalised outreach campaigns.
- Execute outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate qualified meetings and pipeline.
- Partner closely with revenue leadership and founders to define target customer profiles, refine messaging, and build scalable outbound processes.
- Stay informed on developments across AI, machine learning, and frontier model research to improve prospect engagement and credibility.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, meetups, and events to build relationships and generate opportunities.
- Continuously test and iterate outbound strategies to improve conversion rates and pipeline generation.
Key Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in outbound BDR, SDR, or early-stage startup sales roles.
- Experience prospecting into technical audiences such as engineers, researchers, data scientists, or R&D teams.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft highly personalised outreach.
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to understand technical concepts, particularly within AI and machine learning.
- Technical or quantitative academic background preferred, including Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Linguistics, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with evidence of initiative, such as startup experience, founding projects, competitive achievements, or other high-performance environments.
- Strong work ethic, resilience, and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
- Interest in AI, emerging technologies, and the broader research ecosystem.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
