A long-standing, family-owned importer and distributor in the plumbing supply space is seeking a Controller to take full ownership of the accounting function and help shape the future of a fast-growing company.

🔎 What You’ll Do:

✅ Lead full-cycle accounting and transition the business from cash to accrual accounting

✅ Produce accurate P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flow reports

✅ Oversee AR/AP and mentor the existing finance team

✅ Implement controls to minimize risk and ensure compliance (GAAP, tax, etc.)

✅ Manage payroll and support purchasing/forecasting with actionable insights

✅ Collaborate closely with leadership on budgeting and strategic decisions

🎯 What We’re Looking For:

✔️ 10–15 years in accounting/finance with Controller-level experience

✔️ Strong GAAP and accrual accounting foundation

✔️ Experience building or restructuring finance functions in growing companies

✔️ Inventory, distribution, import/export, or wholesale background = strong plus

✔️ ERP experience (DDI Inform helpful)

✔️ Exceptional attention to detail and leadership communication skills
