Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patrols of premises using CCTV systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies by executing established emergency response procedures, including fire safety, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security events, violations, or safety hazards with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new hires or visitors as part of the screening process to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Utilize conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety.
• Operate security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser devices, and firearms in accordance with legal regulations and company policies.
• Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism through surveillance and physical inspections.
• Provide first aid or CPR when necessary, following emergency response procedures to stabilize individuals until medical professionals arrive.
• Maintain comprehensive records of patrols, incidents, background checks, and access logs to ensure accountability and compliance with security regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security roles with knowledge of physical security practices, CCTV surveillance, incident report writing, and access control systems.
• Background in law enforcement or military service is highly desirable due to familiarity with emergency response procedures and firearm handling.
• Valid certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation, and Taser use is required; additional certifications such as heavy lifting or manual handling are a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for patrolling or securing equipment; physically fit to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Knowledge of security regulations and compliance standards relevant to the industry and local laws.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks accurately while respecting privacy laws and confidentiality agreements.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed for continuous coverage.
