Position Overview
USA RAIL is seeking highly motivated and dependable individuals to join our team as Rail Yard Shuttle Drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for shuttling units throughout the rail yard and/or transporting units to and from the processing center for loading purposes.
This is a daytime position operating 7 days per week. As a freight-based company, daily scheduling may vary depending on workload. Candidates must be flexible and ready to work in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Shuttle units throughout the rail yard safely and efficiently
- Transport units to and from processing centers for loading
- Follow all yard safety procedures and company policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
- Maintain a professional and safety-focused work ethic
Requirements (Must Meet ALL Qualifications)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license AND social security card
- No DWI/DUI convictions
- Must pass a background check (NO FELONIES)
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Flexible schedule due to freight-based workload fluctuations
