Position: Rail Loader
Location: Taylor, TX
Starting Pay: $19.00 per hour
Overtime: Potential overtime opportunities available
Job Description
USA Rail is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Rail Loaders. In this role, you will perform essential functions required to safely move vehicles onto railcars and throughout customer properties.
This is a full-time position. As a freight-based operation, schedules may vary depending on workload and rail activity.
No prior experience required. Training will be provided to all selected candidates.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and load vehicles onto railcars
- Move vehicles throughout customer facilities as directed
- Follow all safety procedures and operating guidelines
- Enter and exit vehicles, trains, and shuttle vans throughout the workday
- Assist with railcar deck adjustments and plate changes as required
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment
Requirements
✅ Must be at least 18 years of age
✅ Must possess a valid driver's license
✅ Must have a Social Security card
✅ Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
✅ Ability to perform physical activities including:
- Bending
- Kneeling
- Twisting
- Walking throughout the shift
✅ Ability to climb on and off railcars throughout the day
✅ Ability to lift 40 pounds when changing railcar deck plates
