Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in San Jose, CA. As a Youth Coach, you will guide children ages 4 to 17 through structured, age-appropriate Ninja Warrior training classes and activities. Responsibilities include demonstrating obstacle techniques, ensuring safety during classes, providing positive reinforcement, and fostering an encouraging environment that supports the personal and physical growth of each participant. Coaches will also assist in organizing events, managing group dynamics, and building strong, positive relationships with students and parents.
Qualifications
- Experience or skills in youth coaching, fitness training, or working with children in educational or recreational settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and teammates
- Ability to demonstrate physical activities and maintain a focus on safety and proper technique
- Experience in gymnastics, parkour, obstacle courses, or similar athletic activities is a strong plus
- A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for fostering children's growth, confidence, and resilience
- CPR and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules
