We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Supervisor with strong experience in diesel equipment operations, repairs, and maintenance. This role is hands-on and requires someone who can manage people, processes, and equipment to keep operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily work and direct yard employees
- Ensure all equipment maintenance, inspections, and safety regulations are followed
- Track and schedule preventative maintenance and repairs
- Order and manage parts and supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Monitor workflow and ensure efficient, safe operations across the yard
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with heavy diesel equipment operations and troubleshooting
- Welding/Maintenance schooling or experience
- Supervisory experience managing crews and daily yard operations
- Knowledge of safety standards and preventative maintenance procedures
- Organizational skills for tracking parts, repairs, and workflow processes
- Bilingual preferred
