Role Description: The Energy Consultant - Sales is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area. This role involves meeting with residential customers to assess their homes, explaining insulation and energy-saving options, and recommending tailored solutions using USA Insulation’s proprietary products. The consultant conducts in-home evaluations, prepares proposals, and guides customers through the decision-making process. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, following up on leads, closing sales, and coordinating with installation teams to ensure accurate project handoffs. The role also includes maintaining product knowledge, tracking performance metrics, and representing the company at local events or marketing initiatives.

Qualifications
Strong consulting and customer-facing skills to assess needs, provide recommendations, and build trust.
Knowledge of energy management and energy efficiency principles in residential settings.
Understanding of the energy industry and insulation-related solutions.
Proven sales skills, including lead follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear terms.
Ability to work on-site, travel locally within the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area, and conduct in-home visits.
Basic math and computer skills for preparing estimates, proposals, and using CRM or sales software.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Prior experience in home services, construction, or energy-related sales is beneficial but not required.
