Responsibilities
- Student responsibilities will vary by assigned team within the IT department but can range from general clerical to hands-on experience with IT applications and/or hardware
- Embedded within an IT team and works under the general guidance of a supervisor within the department
- Works on projects and tasks as assigned
- Proficient with basic computer-based programs and utilizes what they learn in classes to inform their work and vice versa
- Prioritizes responsibilities to meet deadlines with successful completion of work
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Maintains confidentiality
- Ability to work schedule as defined up to 20 hours per week during the semester and 28 hours a week during breaks
- Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements
- Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards
- Regular and prompt attendance
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required
- Related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Current enrollment in IS, IT. CS, HI or a related program in the University of South Alabama School of Computing Required
- Must be in good academic standing, not a freshman, and not entering your final semester Required
- Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
