LOCATION: This role is located in Sharonville, OH. POSITION SUMMARY: DuBois Chemicals is seeking a full-time Product Line Manager for the Lubricants/Greases product line to provide strategic direction and commercialization activities to the sales team ensuring the highest level of service to all external customers. Responsible for leading, executing, and delivering strategic plans that support growth and profitability initiatives. Deliver meaningful business results while aligning with customer experience strategies and corporate standards. Demonstrate the company’s core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Manage and sustain a large lubricant and grease product line with growing sales. • Maintain and update sales tools associated with this specific product line. • Prepare, provide, and execute a growth and strategic plan for the grease and lubricant products. • Support the profitability of the products and their competitive advantages. • Establish competitive pricing and maintain historic margins in the grease and lubricant products. • Create communications to educate and promote the product line to sales representatives and customers. • Present monthly product line updates via practice calls. • Manage the commercialization process and product life cycles of products within the lubricant and grease products. • Manage relationships with contract manufacturers to mitigate any supply chain risks. • Collaborate with marketing to create presentations/literature for industry trade shows. • Promote a culture of consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement. • Effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects with specific deadlines. • Train, develop and mentor sales representatives as the subject matter expert for this specific product line. • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in business, chemistry, or a relevant field. • 2 years’ experience in the lubricant market. • Ability to learn multiple new software systems. • Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective relationships with all levels of the organization. • Ability to manage shifting priorities/change in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Strong problem solving and analytical skills for timely and thorough problem resolution – goal oriented. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated and directed with a pro-active work ethic. • Proficient at multi-tasking, managing time and prioritizing with attention to detail.
