Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:
- Operating a portable emission analyzer, creating and utilizing reports to maintain required emission limits on equipment.
- Notify for upcoming state emission testing; review and approve reports when completed.
- Coordinate facility operations during the emission testing.
- Ensure company practices adhere to organizational processes and standards, and other duties as assigned or required
- Demonstrate knowledge and application of emission requirements, regulations procedures and guidelines
- Ability to effectively communicate requirements and changes within the emissions department
- Demonstrate ability to identify and resolve issues under high pressure situations
- Proficient in use of Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet and inventory tracking software.
- Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving habits. Must have a safe driving record and maintain driving records aligned with company requirements.
- Maintain company vehicle according to company guidelines.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair emission control systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of 2 – 4 years of relevant experience in a midstream operations role or equivalent work experience
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- Lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Driving, walking, standing frequently
- Exposure to noise levels in excess of 85dBA, potentially hazardous chemicals and materials.
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting.
- Climb ladders up to 25 feet and walk on uneven terrain.
- Working conditions in natural gas compression vary from one job site to another. Some job sites are indoors in compressor stations while other sites are outside, exposed to a variety of weather conditions. The work environment may be in hazardous locations. There is a strong emphasis on safety while working with heavy equipment and machinery.
