We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL-A Driver for a Home Weekly Dedicated route. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods as required
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries, maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Manage route driving efficiently while ensuring cargo integrity during transit
- Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Comply with all federal, state, and local transportation laws during operations
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when interacting with clients and team members
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- Experience in truck driving, including route driving with freight delivery experience
- Ability to operate manual transmission trucks preferred
- Experience with various trailer types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is a plus
- Prior experience in freight handling, load & unload procedures, or delivery driver roles is desirable
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment
- Forklift certification or experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service excellence
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $0.51 - $0.62 per mile
