We are seeking a motivated and reliable Safety Manager / HR Specialist to join our team.
This is an in-office position located in Paterson, NJ (not remote).
This role combines DOT/FMCSA safety compliance with driver hiring and HR responsibilities. We are open to candidates with basic experience in trucking operations or safety who are willing to learn and grow.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and Russian (required)
- Basic understanding of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
- Familiarity with trucking operations (dispatch, safety, or administrative experience is a plus)
- Strong communication skills (drivers, staff, and management)
- Organized with the ability to multitask
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility
Responsibilities:
- Assist with DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety procedures
- Monitor driver logs, safety scores, violations, and insurance status
- Communicate with drivers regarding safety and daily operations
- Manage driver recruiting and hiring process
- Handle onboarding and HR documentation
- Maintain safety records and assist with audits
