Team Lead (Logistics) – Swing Shift – (M-Th 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM)

Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace Your role at Clorox: Starting Pay Rate: $36.19/hr $1.35 Shift Differential The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the department adheres to and meets all safety and quality standards, as well as cost and performance goals during their shift. This includes ownership for the development of all team members, coordinating appropriate staffing to balance business needs with cost targets, successful execution of daily operations, and maintenance for area equipment. The Team Lead will work autonomously and flow to the highest priority work, collaborate across department boundaries, participate in team-based activities, and ensure compliance with all plant procedures, policies, and standards. This position is considered a safety-sensitive position, meaning, a lapse of attention could adversely affect the safety of others by resulting in injury, illness, or death, including without limitation a position that includes the operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring of heavy equipment, machinery, or operation motorized vehicle. In this role, you will: Ensure Safe behavior is conducted by yourself and those around you by ensuring a high level of employee training and development through coaching Provide leadership to a team of warehouse workers and other logistics staff who handle storage, shipping, receiving, and other operations Cross training team members to ensure balanced work loads with the Logistics team Ability to manage your team from a schedule and task standpoint Ensuring quality checks and audits are complete and accurate Communication with all team members on all shifts is key Identify and implement process improvements Oversee finished goods cycle counts and inventory control processes Ensure raw and packaging materials are organized and available for Production Being proactive: efficient with time management May Serve on an ‘Area of Excellence Team, part of TRACC Involved in Equipment Owner’s roles & responsibilities What we look for: Must at least be in a current level three position (internal candidates only) Passionate about safety and the well being of your team Previous demonstration of strong leadership and influencing skills Ability to effectively coach team members to Play to Win Need to have strong ability to facilitate team meetings Excellent interpersonal skills High level of ownership shown in current position Passionate about standard work and driving out and understanding losses Packaging machine operating experience preferred Strong problem-solving capabilities Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external groups Exceptional integrity and demonstration of results ownership Decisive Self-starter Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP (preferred) SharePoint, and other applications Eligibility Criteria (Internal Applicants ONLY) Application Period: Must apply by 07/31/2023 Must be in “good standing” with the company, any written warning or above are not eligible to apply. Minimum of twelve (12) months in your current department and have a minimum of six (6) months in your current position after skill block is sign-off. If not signed off within the department the twelve (12) months criteria is the only criteria that must be met. Shift Transfers must meet twelve (12) months in the department and shift.
