Job Summary:
The Assembly Line Lead helps oversee the processing activities. They manage production assembly lines, assist their teams to complete orders and prepare reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for smooth operation of their assigned production line.
Ensuring all workers are in position and prepared for duty.
Monitor the individual components used for pack-out and replenish as needed to ensure steady flow of production.
Verify that proper labeling and any requirements for the job are being adhered to.
Inspect pack-out to ensure quality standards and counts.
Document and monitor production progress.
Assist workers when necessary.
Ensure all members of the team follow company policies and safety regulations are being enforced to meet safety compliance.
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience Required:
At least 3 years’ experience in food production
Licenses/Certification Preferred:
HACCP Certified
Technical Skills and Abilities
Must be able to effectively perform in a multi-tasking environment with frequent interruptions.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Able to work in a group setting.
Able to work alone.
Strong organization and active listening skills.
Understands and implements all safety standards.
