Position Title: PRODUCTION OPERATOR - Location: Shawnee, OK JOB DUTIES AND INFORMATION WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Fills cryogenic liquids and pure non-flammable industrial gases according to Airgas Fill Plant Standard Operating Procedures by any of the following methods: (1) sets pressure gauge to specified reading and watches for indication of full cylinders; (2) adjusts valves and observes gauge to fill cylinder to specified pressure; (3) observes scale indicator to fill cylinders to specified weight; and (4) fills cylinder to full capacity, rolls cylinder onto scale and connects vent line to release excess gas and attain prescribed weight. Rolls cylinders onto platform, or positions cylinders in manifold racks manually or with the aid of material handling equipment. Tests gas for purity using testing equipment. Inspects or tests empty cylinders. Examines exterior of cylinder for surface defects such as dents, cracks, or burns, and deciphers whether or not to quarantine the cylinder for further inspection. ________________________ Are you a MATCH? QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and all other written communications.
