Risk Management Analyst Sr

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior Risk Management Analyst to join our Underwriting team. This role is pivotal in assessing and mitigating risk across our high-volume merchant portfolio, leveraging advanced data analytics, financial analysis, and emerging AI technologies to drive smarter, faster, and more scalable underwriting decisions. We are looking for a Risk Management Analyst Sr who will: Analyze financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and other financial documents to assess financial heath and performance of merchants Conduct comprehensive risk assessment using financial analysis, credit bureau data, industry trends, and business profiles to establish risk control measures Develop and enhance underwriting models leveraging data analytics and AI to improve risk predictions and decision making Assist in merchant onboarding by communicating credit policies and procedures clearly and effectively Perform regular reviews of existing accounts to identify changes in financial condition or behavior that may impact creditworthiness Collaborate with sales teams to support underwriting needs and ensure alignment with risk policies Advise internal stakeholders on best practices for managing credit related matters and mitigating risk Identify emerging risk trends and contribute to firmwide risk initiatives and special projects Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who: Have a bachelor’s degree. Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in risk analysis, data analytics, or fraud detection Have strong knowledge of credit risk management principles and process Has solid Microsoft Excel skills and hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, or Power BI Can analyze, processes, and act on big data. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience. $57,259.73-$91,614.90 This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
