U.S. Water Services Corporation is seeking a dependable and motivated individual to assist with seasonal lawn care and grounds maintenance at the City of Galena's water and wastewater facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining clean and safe public utility spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow and trim lawns at water and wastewater treatment sites, wells, and lift stations.
- Perform general groundskeeping tasks, including lawn mowing, grounds cleanup, and basic landscaping.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, safe, and presentable.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and basic landscaping tools safely.
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible.
Schedule:
