We are seeking a dependable Inventory Technician / Forklift Operator to support material handling, inventory control, and project site logistics. This position will involve operating a propane sit-down forklift as needed, while also performing a variety of inventory and material staging tasks throughout the day.
This is not a full-time forklift-only position. Candidates must be comfortable working on their feet, supporting inventory operations, scanning and counting materials, and helping stage materials for installation teams based on daily project needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate a propane sit-down forklift safely and as needed.
• Perform material counts and assist with inventory tracking.
• Scan materials into the inventory system.
• Receive, organize, and stage materials for distribution to different project areas.
• Prepare materials for installation teams based on jobsite needs and direction from supervisors.
• Move, sort, label, and organize materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Assist with general warehouse, laydown yard, or project site material support.
• Work closely with team members, supervisors, and installation crews to keep materials flowing properly.
• Follow all site safety rules, company policies, and project procedures.
• Adjust quickly to changing tasks and priorities based on the needs of the project.
Requirements
• Experience operating a propane sit-down forklift.
• Ability to safely work around materials, equipment, and active project areas.
• Comfortable performing inventory duties and not operating a forklift all day.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and work on your feet throughout the full shift.
• Strong attention to detail when counting, scanning, and staging materials.
• Ability to take direction and work well in a team environment.
• Must be dependable, safety-minded, and willing to help wherever needed.
• Ability to change tasks quickly as project needs shift.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Requirements
• Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, move, and stage materials as required.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse, project site, or material staging environment.
• Must be able to work safely around forklifts, materials, and installation activity.
