What are the responsibilities and job description for the Media Blaster / Wash Bay position at US Technology Media Inc.?
**Job Overview:**
Seeking (1) Media Blaster/wash bay attendant's to join our production team. Experience preferred but will train the right person. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible in helping clean parts of dirt and grease before preparing surfaces for abrasive blast and coating removal from customer provided work. If you have work ethic, mechanical knowledge, good-hand eye coordination, have common sense, and are willing to put in the work in a labor intensive environment, we encourage you to apply.
Time: 8 a.m. - 4:30p.m.
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate Pressure Washer and utilize cleaning tools to remove dirt and other contaminates from production work pieces.
- Prepare surfaces for blasting by masking components critical areas and identification markers.
- Remove coatings from various surfaces as per customer requirements.
- Maintain equipment and work area.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
**Qualifications:**
LABOR INTENSIVE. NOT AN EASY JOB.
- Work Ethic.
-Mechanical knowledge a plus
- Knowledge of safety and PPE is a plus.
- Ability to withstand extreme varying temperatures while inside the work facility.
- Ability to work, produce, be professional in presentation, and deliver under stressful conditions.
