Hybrid work schedule with a combination of remote and onsite work. Standard hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility as business needs require.

We are seeking a Principal Systems Engineer to support the development and integration of complex end-to-end medical device systems. This role involves applying systems engineering principles throughout the product lifecycle, with a focus on verification and validation of wearable devices, mobile applications, software algorithms, cloud applications, user portals, gateways, and data pipelines.

• Evaluate system integration points and lead integration planning and testing across wearable devices, mobile applications, software algorithms, cloud applications, and user portals.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to verify and validate system performance, safety, and security across the end-to-end ecosystem.

• Prepare test protocols and validation reports.

• Develop system models, perform risk analyses, and implement mitigation strategies.

• Analyze system performance, reliability, and data integrity across the complete data pipeline.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on systems engineering standards and best practices throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and delivery.

• 5-8 years of systems engineering experience with a significant focus on connected medical devices or other complex end-to-end hardware and software systems.

• Demonstrated experience leading the development of end-to-end systems.

• Expertise in systems modeling, requirements management, risk analysis, verification, and validation.

• Experience developing system design verification and validation plans and functional test procedures.

• Strong understanding of medical device regulations, quality systems, and data privacy regulations.

• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams to drive complex projects to completion.
