Job Description:
- Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, development, administration, risk management, implementation, control, and closure of large-sized projects across multiple business units.
- Understand and utilize project management methodologies and processes for project delivery to achieve scope, schedule, and cost objectives while effectively managing risks.
- Determine specific business needs and deliverables of a project, establish and manage costs, resources, performance measurements, timeline, and project deliverables.
- Manage applicable project contracts in conjunction with sourcing personnel including preparing RFPs, evaluating responses, participating in negotiations, interpreting contract language, and handling finances.
- Develop and execute communication and stakeholder management plans related to projects.
- Ensure training needs are met for project team members and users of the project.
- Ensure operational teams are properly trained, work orders are closed, finance charges are handled, and a smooth transition of deliverables occurs upon project completion.
- Provide support and mentorship in organizational change management methodology within the context of program and project management.
- Minimum of five (5) years of IT/Technology Project Management experience required. Prefer a candidate with ten (10) years of experience.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale, high-dollar, multi-year software technology projects.
- Ability to identify, plan, coordinate, and drive work across multiple IT teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and escalation management skills.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, consulting partners, system integrators, and contract resources.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project expected.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
